Terms & Conditions Touring & Camping
ELECTRIC LEADS - we only permit electric hook-up leads that comply to BS6500 and BS4343 standard.
We do not allow home made leads with an extension socket, such as these
Here is an example of leads that are acceptable
ONLY APPROVED ELECTRIC LEADS WITH BUILT IN CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE TO BE USED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISCONNECT YOUR ELECTRIC IF APPROVED LEADS ARE NOT BEING USED.
Special Requirements We do our very best to accommodate special requests please let us know when placing your booking if you have any specific requirements.
Specific Pitches or Pitches booked "together" We take many bookings where guests request specific pitches or pitches together. While we will do our very best to accommodate such requests we can not guarantee this 100% of the time, but we do try!!
Bookings We ask that any booking during August on an electric pitch is for a minimum of 3 nights. All pitches for any duration for 3 nights or longer must be booked and paid for in full one month before arrival date. We also require all bookings to be paid for in advance to guarantee a pitch if the arrival date is less than one month before your arrival date
Changes to bookings Telephone alterations to booked holiday dates must be confirmed either by letter, telephone or email. We ask guests to notify us of any date changes to bookings at least 7 days prior to arrival. We can not however guarantee that we can accomadate such request but will in that event offer a suitable alternative where ever possible the full payment for the booking will still be required one month before arrival.
Payment on Arrival for Guests that have not booked are required to pay the balance for their duration on arrival at reception before pitching.
Cancellation Of Booking All cancellations must be received by email or post. We reserve the right to recover the full cost of your booking if we do not receive a written notice of cancellation. A minimum of 28 days notice is required for cancellations or full payment may be due and will be taken from the card details provided to us at the time of booking.
Arrival & Departure Pitches are availbale from 2pm. Reserved pitches will be held until 9pm on the day of arrival. If you are delayed on your journey, please let us know as soon as possible by telephoning our reception on 01326 290200. We reserve the right to re- let your pitch if you have not contacted us or arrived by 9pm. No refunds will be due for non-arrivals.
Vacating your pitch ALL pitches must be vacated by 12 noon unless by prior arrangement. We reserve the right to charge for an extra night for late departures unless by prior agreement. If you would like to leave later than 12 noon, please speak to us beforehand - a further charge may be required.
Day Visitors If you are expecting visitors, please inform us in advance of their arrival, and provide us with a car registration number if possible. Please inform us if your visitors have dogs if so they are to be kept under the same control as clients dogs. We reserve the right to make a small charge for day visitors.
Dogs Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the site. Outside our peak periods dogs may be excerised off leads in our Summer Camping field, at other times you may use the large field that is just next to our holiday park. Any owner allowing their dog to continuely foul the site without cleaning up after them will be asked to leave without a refund. Any accidental dog fouling must be cleaned up immediately. Please use the dog bins that have been provided around the site. PETS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN ANY UNIT. Dogs (except guide dogs) are not allowed in any of the buildings, inc toilet/shower blocks, games room, laundrette etc.
Children All children must be under adult supervision when using play equipment remember that your children are YOUR responsibility.
Gazebos These are allowed by permission only and must be pitched as directed.
Pup Tents/Trailers/ boats etc No extra charge as long as they fit within your pitch.
Cars We allow 1 car per pitch, extra cars may be charged for and may need to be parked away from the pitch.
Safety Drive at walking pace please. MAXIMUM 7 mph at all times whilst on site, please remember that Children will be playing. Please familarise yourself with the fire safety equipment around the park.
ONLY FULLY QUALIFIED AND INSURED DRIVERS ARE PERMITTED TO DRIVE VEHICLES WHILST ONSITE, ANYONE BREAKING THIS RULE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
Authority The right is reserved to refuse admittance or to terminate the visit of any person or persons whose conduct is considered detrimental to Chy Carne Holiday Park or to other visitors.We will not tolerate any abusive behaviour towards other holiday makers or our staff. Any abusive behaviour will result in you being removed from the site. No refunds will be due if we have to terminate your holiday/visit.
Liability The owners will not accept liability in respect of injury or damage to any person or the property of any person using the site howsoever caused or sustained.
Fire Pits / Baskets & Chimineas Care must always be taken when using these on site, children under 16 must NOT be left unattended at ANY time near a lit fire, please ensure that you know where the nearest fire equipment is. Please remember that all of the above will remain very hot for hours after use, and ensure that your children are aware of the dangers, if possible please ensure that they are extinguished using water when not attended. Do not remove any wood around the site, we have large bags available to purchase from our onsite shop.
Noise We encourage people to enjoy the outdoor life style, we apreciate that sometimes its easy to forget that noise may travel at night and ask that noise is kept as low as possible and that you are respectful of your neighbours, our staff do regular patrols around the site, if noise is deemed to be excessive our staff will advise you accordingly. No loud music.
We will remove people from the site that continually cause a nuisance to others. NO REFUNDS WILL BE DUE IF YOU ARE ASKED TO LEAVE.
Please remember that July & August are our busiest months, if you like it quiet and peaceful, then come out of season, when we are a quiet and relaxing site.

Term & Conditions for Static Caravan Hire
1. You are required to leave the unit in a clean, tidy and sound condition. An extra charge will be made if left dirty.
2. Units may only be used to accommodate the persons named on the booking form.
3. Where more than one unit is booked, the equipment from one unit must not be moved to another.
4. Radio, musical instruments etc. shall not be used in such a way as to cause annoyance to others.
5. Deposits on cancelled bookings are non refundable. In the event of cancellation the balance of the unit is payable should the unit remain unlet.
6. Cornwall Local Authorities allow one vehicle to be parked alongside the caravan.
7. Vehicles and their contents are parked at the owners risk.
8. Speed Limit on site is 7 MPH
9. Tvs must not be moved from unit under any circumstances.
10. Pets at the discretion of the owners and MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME.
11. Please note for all credit card payments a 3% charge will apply.
ARRIVAL units are available from 4pm on day arrival.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN DUVET COVERS, PILLOW CASES and BOTTOM SHEETS
